I am appalled of Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her gang of liberal Senators to force contraceptives on the American people! Is the President approving this? Who are they really targeting if not the African American community? To prevent children from being born because its too expensive for the State is a disgrace! Expensive is her private jet, her designer clothes, the cuts she gets out of all the government funding projects generated pork, etc. etc. The Catholic church should ex-communicate her! This so called stimulus package is a disguised socialist agenda presented like a trojan horse; it is taking away the rights of women to have kids (mind you, it's a burden on the State), it is taking away money from hard working people to give to those who don't pay taxes, taking away our rights to choose our own doctors(is Nancy Pelosi going to stand in the long lines to see the doctor? Yeh, right: the rules don't apply to them. They can afford to fly to Israel to see a Private Doctor. Like Al Gore who want all Americans to buy more expensive bulbs so he can continue to fly in private jets and burn a lot of electricity in his giant mansion. Where will it end? Isn't it curious how Obama never seem to know anything, but want to be President? When the video of Rev. Jeremiah Wright came out, as well as, Rev. Flaggart, Obama's response was that he didn't know that he was a racists. Never heard (in 20 year sitting in the church pew) and never saw anything that would suggest his hate for America! Do you get the picture? He will attend meetings with heads of state from around the world and he wont know anything of what they say!

Remember his association with the terrorist Bill Ayers where Obama started his career in this guys living room, dedicated his book to the guy who murdered Robert Kennedy, Obama wrote favorable of this guy in another of Ayers book, sat on boards, trained community leaders with this guys materials...and Obama didn't know what Bill Ayers did with the underground group: bombing sprees! Obama said he didn't know! How can he protect America from its enemies?

Remember the professor from Palestine who was an active member of the PLO, who Obama praised at a dinner where Bill Ayers and terrorist wife Bernadine attended and where cruel things were said about Israel? Obama claims he didn't know what this man was about! How can he stand with Israel when Iran send its missiles over there?

Lately, Obama's aunt living in a project in Boston is illegally in the country and Obama said he didn't know about her status! If he didn't even know about his family situation, how on earth are we to trust him to know difficult matters in the office of the President or of delicate matters as the brew! We cannot risk the safety of our country with an after the fact executive! We need a leader who knows what's going on at all times and who can predict things before they happen and prevent them from happening! WE NEED A PRESIDENT WHO KNOWS THINGS BEFORE THEY HAPPEN! I am sick and tired of hearing the Obama camp antics about Senator McCain's and Governor Palin's age! The former is being hammered because he is a Senior Citizen running for office (as if this is anything new) and the latter because apparently she is not old enough(presumably lack of experience). Both assumptions are a total falsehood! Senator McCain is an energetic senior citizen while Senator Biden is always so full of contempt and anger which is consistent with a grouchy old man.
On the other hand, the Democratic number one person is young but it is a FACT that he lacks executive experience, while the Republican number two person is also young but with EXECUTIVE EXPERIENCE (mayor turn governor). Her resume holds similarity to several other elected presidents, so give give me a break!
The stock that the good old Senator McCain is made of is quite sturdy and tough. It surpasses the more modern genaration where men seem to go at an early age. Unless the Demo's plan to whack the Repo candidate after he is elected, the American people has nothing to fear about him dropping dead. He has some good years ahead of him if the longevity of his mother is hereditary.
ALL SENIORS SHOULD PROTEST THIS UNFAIR ATTACK ON SENATOR McCAIN because of his age! The truth of the matter is, the good senator has bent back over backwards for this country and is the only candidate who has SERVED AMERICA FOR HIS ENTIRE ADULT LIFE!

Impatient Ambition

It's almost pathetic to see how the Obama camp is grasping for straws desperate to dig up dirt on Governor Palin so as to regain their standing in the polls. Nobody is to be blamed but his own people who advice him to put his own ambition first rather than wait a few more years so as to give Hillary Clinton who has been waiting for 8 years her deserved chance at the nomination.
It would have been better for Obama to pull the Clinton clan aside and make a deal with him as vice-president for this round. The ticket would have been unbeatable and as the 2nd. on the ticket, he would be groomed during her administration as next in line.
Because of his lack of patience, he allowed his ambition to get the best of him, thus leading him in the most feared position of slipping off his high horse!
Senator McCain has paid his dues patiently with persevarance (if at first you don't succeed, try, try again) and hard work (not just voting nah or yeh) which gave him valuable experience. At McCain's side Sarah will be groomed and will be unstopable! Mark my words! America has nothing to fear about her having to take over the Presidency too soon because unless the D's are planning on wacking off the good old senator (who by the way, is made of hard stock: Did you see his mother at her age look so good?) he has a good amount of years left by the grace of God.
Now Obama has to swim like hell for his life. If the McCain/Palin ticket pulls this off, he's finish and Hillary will get her turn.

The Democratic Presidential candidate should have use the slogan: bla, bla, bla. I have been waiting for the longest to hear some substance as to what his plans are if he makes it to the White House, but I've grown to give up. If he had appointed a visionary and pragmatic V.P. instead of a same old dead beat politician whose record in congress has been a cry baby for the past 8 years maybe he'd get some progressive advice.

On the other hand, Obama has no experience whatsoever much less any accomplishments as Senator. He's all talk and nothing to show for it! His head is totally buried in the sand. The President of Iran told the entire world he wants to destroy Israel off the map and Obama's foreign policy intuition interprets it as a NO THREAT! Does the missils have to fall and hit him in the head to believe what all Americans already know? Do we want a "pretty boy"stuck in his memoires? Or do we want progressive leaders to take the country to higher levels, a restoration of our values as stated in the Constitution, a better and more prosperous livelihood, and a more effective World leader.

Sick Trend or Epidemic?

What in the world is going on? Is it my imagination, or is their a sick trend of husbands killing their wives? Has the "till death do us part" taken new meaning in society? How long has there been a history of this sort of violence occurring? Is it that cases such as the Entwistle, Scott Peterson...just never made the media in the past? Is this just happening recently as sort of an epidemic or worse, a trend? How sick is this? Are these selfish men a product of a society of greed and lack of family values? So many questions and no aparent answers! What is it going to take for the nation's government to look into the cause and not just rely on the judicial system to prosecute these people!

On another note, these guys (because we can't label them gentlemen) seemed to enjoy when the camera flashed directly on them! The sudden fame for such a despicable act! Maybe this is what is motivating them. On the other hand, are they so naive to think that they could get away with it? Haven't they followed the news to know that the law always convict and sentence the spouse charged? that is, unless you are O.J. Simpson! How stupid are these men and how selfish to not think on their families.

A Time for Tough Love( Hulk Hogan)

When I heard what happen to Hulk Hogan's son Nick and his friend John I felt sorry for the parents but when I heard Hulks comments on the Larry King interview I was shocked. This is supposed to be a TV dad! What I saw and heard was a father making excuses for his son, trying to capitalize on the situation, and blaming the victim. Sorry Mr. Hogan... you blew it! This was the opportunity to show some tough love to your son! When I was in my early teens, my brother who was a dare devil if you will was racing on motor-cycles with friends and they got in trouble with the police (in Colombia). I couldn't understand why my dad refuse to bail him out like the other dads and instead let him sleep in jail for 48 hours. He turned and said to me: this is not me being mean; it's called tough love. I don't want him ever setting foot in a prison again! Even then, my brother in a sports car was driving too fast and ran off the road and into a persons yard moving a huge boulder which totaled the car and he was left incapacitated for weeks. He was lucky he didn't kill someone or die! He then took to flying airplanes when he came to Miami and purchase a speed boat in his adult life as a father and husband. His wife feared she was going to get the news one day that he crashed in an airplane, but it was bad company that did him in. Yes, Mr. Hogan, they can be stubborn, these teenagers, so you should show tough love instead, otherwise you'll be burying him at a young age!

I would have love to hear you say(Mr. Hogan) how you are reaching out to the youth in America, not to drink and drive, and not to engage in reckless behavior. Not to make bad decisions like what these two did. To look at what happened to your son's best friend(ended up in a comma) and your son in jail (that it could have well been the other way around), they both could have been killed, they could have killed another person or persons... but you miss the chance of helping to raise awareness on this issue. What a terrible blow this must be to John's family to hear you make excuses for Nick and hope John will end up a better person...Wake up Mr. Hogan, he is brain dead!

Cheating & Marriage: oil & water

Some quack was on Fox news trying to convince viewers that cheating is good for marriage! Is this person a new arrival from another planet? Doesn't she know that when trust is gone it is gone...adios...finito....bye-bye...racca-racca (paka-paka pronounced in Russian)! Life on Earth has shown that if the cheating spouse doesn't get beaten up or end up dead, one of the following usually happens: they cheat back on you and make the problem worse, they end up in divorce and take you to the cleaners or let's say you are a saint and want to hold on to your marriage for the sake of the children, for religious reasons(you actually fear God and don't believe in divorce), or for financial reasons (fear of starting from scratch vs. loneliness...) the trust is forever gone. The least of your problems would be the throwing it back in your face every time you have a disagreement, constant arguing and lying about other matters. One spouse then secretly follows the other spouse around watching their every move or tag along like a chewing gum, call each other every second, showing up at the most unusual places (stalking) or hiring a private eye if the funds allow it!

The fact of the matter is Cheating and marriage are like oil and water...they don't mix.
I have been married for 15 years and trust my husband completely because he's the type of man that if a hot babe made a pass at him he would stop her immediately with: I'm a happily married man, so beat it! Well, maybe he's too polite to tell you to beat it, but if you insist he might not be so polite. That's my husband all right. We tell each other everything that happens day by day, even if the opposite sex much as wink their eye at either of us! and be careful so don't get any funny ideas....because you'll be embarrased! So respect your spouses (don't lie and cheat) and save yourself a lot of unnecessary grief is my advice!

Make up your minds, Judges!

Anytime I watch the fashion shows or rather the runway shows of all the top designers whether its New York Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz , Paris or Milan....I am on the lookout for the gals who were on the different fashion shows. To my disappointment, I haven't been able to spot any of them! I think once I saw someone resembling Jackie from "Make Me a Supermodel" who was my favorite but got kicked off early, but she never showed up again so I wasn't able to confirm if it was her. What's the point of these shows if the girls (not even the winners) are getting any gigs! Most of the girls on the runway look like they will drop dead under the weight of some of the dresses. They may look good in long gowns, but when they have to show their puny legs its so hard to watch. I feel so sorry for them! I hope the money they pay them is worth dying for. Tyra should work harder to help these girls play in the big league.

About the America's Next Top Model show, I don't know what's up with the judges. In one show they tell the girls that they need to do A and not Z, and in the following show they tell them they need to do Z and not A.

As a reminder of the winners of each season:
1. Adrianne Curry: what a horrible filthy mouth she has. Not a role model if you care for your little girls. Very vulgar. When she hosted the beauty contest in Russia it was so boring and painful to watch, I flipped the channel.
2. Yoanna House: the best contestant in ANTM history. Why is she not more visible?
3. Eva Pigford: I happened to agree with Janice Dikinson that she's too short and thick for the business. Maybe that's why she is not visible on the big time fashion shows.
4.Naima Mora: Sweet girl. I was happy when she won.
5. Nicole Linkletter: For the life of me I couldn't remember this contestant. I had to do a lot of searching to remember her face.
6. Danielle Evans: She's so real and sweet. My all time favorite!
7. CariDee English: Did not deserve to remain in the show much less win after her disrespect to Nigel Barker (judge/photographer). Her comment was inappropriate for TV and vulgar for any decent young woman.
8. Jaslene Gonzalez: Now here's a young lady who carries herself with dignity. She is a good role model for other kids. She is sweet and very determined, and never gave up after her first rejection in a prior season. Her win was most deserving.
9. Saleisha Stowers: I guess the rumors are true about her prior affiliation to Tyra Banks. Her win seemed predetermined. Jenna was my favorite of all the girls. She was real and showed true talent. The way the judges were knocking her down really killed her spirit and she could do no right in their eyes even when she did a much better job than the others. Saleisha was so boring with only one look. Jenna's face was always striking and interesting. She was the whole package. As for what Nigel took offense to, its a laugh! So obvious that they just wanted to knock her out of the competition to lean it towards Tyra's friend Saleisha! No comparison to what Caridee told him and not only did they keep her in the competition but they made her win.
10. Whitney Thompson: Worse season in ANTM history. The girls just couldn't deliver. Anya showed some potential. Whitney was lucky that she was at the right place at the right time. It was so obvious that Tyra did not want to risk the chance of getting another plus size model as photogenic as Whitney. That's about the extent of her talent as a model. It was painful to watch her try to fit into those clothes. Her face is truly beautiful though, so go girl, take the money and run!

If Tyra Banks doesn't want to get her viewers boycotting her program, for being unfair, she better get her act together and give the judges a written set of clear expectations the contestants should display and not improvise their judging categories. Likewise, the contestants should be aware of what is expected of them in a consistent fashion so as to avoid contradictions. Judges seem to forget what they said from one season to the next, thus making a national fool of themselves!

I think the problem with these men is that they have a wandering eye, and can't commit. If they are not in it for the right reason to begin with what's the point of the show? The producers should over-haul their agreements with the candidates and make changes with their screening procedures. Maybe use some Psychologist to find compatible candidates, and submit both the men and women to a lie detector test. As a mother of a minor child it is chilling to know that adults would conceive such a thought and use it as a line in an ad. I hope people refuse to buy whatever it is they are selling. It is quite obvious that this group have been hiding behind religion to molest children. #2 President Clinton who conned me twice to vote for him (he is the reason I converted to the Republican party and glad I did. The more I learn about the Democrats the less I like them. He conned me because I was a new citizen of America. I was charmed by him and was an easy target. As much as I would like to see a Black President or a Woman President, these are not the best representation in the greatest country in the world.
#3 Mrs. Hillary Clinton because she swings wherever the wind blows to get votes. No true convictions. No creativity! well, maybe being a crybaby was strategic. As for her bohemian like behavior at parties, so unbecoming!
#4 Barbara Walters for getting away with building a legendary career while all along having an affair with a married man, thus living a lie. Conning people with her self-rightous image while fornicating, and showing contempt for our family values by committing adultery.
#5 Mr. McClellan for "kissing and telling" on the highest office in our country. Breaching the trust of the Commander and Chief at a time of war (or anytime for that matter) to accept the position of Press Secretary he had to agree to confidentiality.
#6 Senator Obama for all his mishaps and arrogance, appearing naive when in fact he is an Ivy League graduate. It is appalling how he insults our intelligence with an "I didn't know" attitude.

I think that would be a nightmare for the other justices! She is so domineering I can't imagine anyone being able to put up with her trying to impose her beliefs (which by the way changes with the wind) on the other justices. I think it's time Cruella resigns though, but not to be replaced by the Mrs. C. who doesn't wear a dress but wants to be First Woman President. It seems that the term woman is a mere convenience.

As for feeling sorry for her, don't buy into that! that's also a con. Playing up the sympathy card is another tactic for votes. Don't forget people: Con Artists have charisma so as to gain your trust and then they strike. You won't know what hit you. With the Republican party at least you know that what you see is what you get!

I am in a dilemma on who to vote for: if anyone deserves to be President is Mr. McCain but I dislike some of his liberal views (abortion). No good God fearing person would outright violate a divine natural law of human preservation to destroy a human embryo. None of the candidates are brave enough to stand up for this principle of civilized, human decency. Maybe all of us should boycut all of these candidates and vote for an independent who respects life! Who would that be? Since when is it a crime to speak up or stand up for oneself? I am appalled at the negative publicity Star Jones is getting in contrast to Barbara Walters! It just shows that good, decent America Family Values does mean anything anymore, while the famous can do anything immoral such as adultery and it get swept under the rug. News casters are giving Barbara Walters a pass because of her fame on TV. I have lost respect for her because she has always portrayed this God Almighty self-rightous image quick to judge others (like making a big deal because Star didn't want to reveal her method of losing weight) while knowingly, Barbara Walters was living a lie (which makes her a hypocrite) of causing disturbance in someone else's family. I applaud Star (I'm no fan of hers either) for telling her like it is! She has every right to her opinion because its a free country with freedom of speech and Barbara seems to use her rights to slander Star without any hessitation. In a book? please! For money she didn't even care to spare the family of this Senator (whom she hurt to begin with) the shame and pain once again by going public with this now. Have you seen the article by the POST regarding 'dead beat' teachers? First of all I think this is very disrespectful to ALL teachers to be called names. However I would like to add that their reasons for why there are lots of senior teachers getting paid without classroom assignment is not because they are bad teachers, but because they have a lot of experience they make too much money. It's cheaper for schools to higher new teachers (they only have to pay half the seniors salary) therefore, not exhausting their budget. If anyone out there have any comments on this I would like to hear from you.

It really bugs me when I hear 'strange' news of weird stuff happening in our schools today. I'm a mother of a 10 year old child and my family pay education taxes so I guess that qualifies me to state an opinion. Remember that news about schools getting graded for performance? Schools that were considered good got the lowest grades and the lowest performing schools got A's and B's. Does anyone wonder how that could be possible? Does anyone really think these grades reflect the truth? It seems to me that there is a lot of cheating going on. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that these low performing schools are doing something unethical to beat the system and their respective administrators get to look good and keep their jobs. WHY AREN'T THE AUTHORITIES LOOKING INTO WHAT SCHOOLS ARE DOING WITH THE STATE TEST.
I would like to about your experiences about stuff that don't make sense in schools you have worked. If anyone in your school asked you to open your state test before the date of the test so you can feed the answer to your students, this is your chance to get it off your chest. Are they shamelessly inflating grades to students who can't read, low performing in general, sleep all day in class.... These teachers are making it harder for other teachers who really care but have the impossible task to have to compete with them, because students see what's going on and why would they do work if they can get a free grade after all. I would also like to know what the administration is doing to get after these principals who are getting away with this sort of unethical behavior.

Am I the only one that's crazy? Let's talk a little politics. Liberals have been running the Education in New York for the longest until they ran it to the ground. It's a detrimental mess!
