teacher's corner

Have you seen the article by the POST regarding 'dead beat' teachers? First of all I think this is very disrespectful to ALL teachers to be called names. However I would like to add that their reasons for why there are lots of senior teachers getting paid without classroom assignment is not because they are bad teachers, but because they have a lot of experience they make too much money. It's cheaper for schools to higher new teachers (they only have to pay half the seniors salary) therefore, not exhausting their budget. If anyone out there have any comments on this I would like to hear from you.
